We booked queen room and could use wake-up service, available in it. A microwave oven, tea/coffee making equipment and a washing machine were provided if needed. The daily service was good. Location: the hotel was so close to different eating restaurants, Salem, and southern Illinois. Dined at Kfc, it was not too far away from the venue.

We loved that the hotel was conveniently located near restaurants and activities. We explored the nearby Salem area with fantastic opportunities for swimming and fishing. The kids especially enjoyed our picnic by the lake.
In my wife's opinion, the hotel could really use a deep clean and some modern updates. Better breakfast options would be great for families with children.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
The room wasnice and neat, though the location near the highway made it a bit noisy. I enjoyed a quick breakfast, but check expiration dates on yogurt! Great for a short stop.
